Who we are
Sixty Skies is provided by Animus Motvs Kft. (ANIMUS MOTVS Korlátolt Felelősségű Társaság), 1031 Budapest, Almási Balogh Loránd utca 1/A, 1st floor, door 3, Hungary; company registration number 01-09-451172; EU VAT number HU11804925; support@sixtyskies.com.
These terms and Apple’s licence
The app is licensed to you under Apple’s standard Licensed Application End User Licence Agreement. These terms add the rules of the Sixty Skies service. By using the app you accept both.
What Sixty Skies is
Sixty Skies reads each day against your birth chart using Chinese BaZi, the Tong Shu almanac and Western astrology, and turns this into reflective texts and questions. These are symbolic traditions, not science. The readings describe a climate for reflection; they do not predict events, and they are not medical, psychological, legal, financial or any other professional advice. Decisions about your life stay yours.
Who may use it
You must be at least 16 years old. Use the app for your own, personal purposes.
Free features and the subscription
The profile, the calendar, the reading composed from the cards, the journal and the morning note are free. The subscription adds “Go deeper” (the month and year behind the day, the Western sky, and where the two skies meet) and, with your consent, the full reading of each day written with AI.
The AI reading is normally generated once for each day and reused for that day. If your birth details or your time zone change, it is generated again. A maximum of five AI readings can be generated per day, including the first reading. Each subscription also has a monthly limit on AI cost, which starts again at the beginning of each calendar month; it is set so that one reading a day normally fits within it. Days and months for these limits are counted in UTC. You see the reading composed on your phone, with “Go deeper”, when you are offline, when a written reading does not pass the app’s checks, where AI readings are not offered in your App Store country, or when the daily or monthly limit is reached.
- The subscription is offered monthly and yearly, at the price shown in the App Store before you buy.
- New subscribers can start with a 7-day free trial. Unless you cancel at least 24 hours before the trial ends, it turns into a paid subscription.
- The subscription renews automatically for the same period unless you cancel at least 24 hours before the current period ends. You can cancel in your iPhone’s Settings under your name, Subscriptions. After you cancel, the subscription stays active until the end of the period already paid; Apple’s subscription settings show the date.
- You buy the subscription from Apple, under Apple’s Media Services Terms, which also set out your right to withdraw from a purchase, where applicable. Payment, renewal, cancellation and refunds are handled by Apple; refund requests go to Apple.
AI-written readings
With your consent, subscribers’ readings are written with AI from the symbols of your chart, after the app has computed the data for your chart and the day. They are labelled as written by AI. The app checks each reading automatically against fixed rules, and if a reading does not pass, you see the composed reading instead. AI-written text can still contain mistakes or phrasing that does not fit you; read it as an invitation to reflect, not as a statement of fact. If you withdraw your consent, you see the composed reading; this does not cancel your subscription.
Fair use
Do not try to break, overload or reverse-engineer the service, or to get AI readings in ways the app does not offer. The daily and monthly limits on AI readings are the ones described under “Free features and the subscription”.
Our content
The texts, cards, illustrations and design of Sixty Skies belong to Animus Motvs Kft. or its licensors. You may use them within the app for your own purposes. The cards draw on classical works that are in the public domain; the texts and translations in the app are our own.
Availability and changes
We work to keep Sixty Skies available and correct, but we cannot promise that it will always be available or free of errors. We may change features for legal, security or technical reasons, or to improve the service, at no additional cost. If a change negatively affects your access to or use of a paid feature in more than a minor way, we will notify you at least 30 days in advance in a form you can keep and read unchanged. The notice will explain the change, its effective date and how to end the subscription. You may end it free of charge within 30 days of receiving the notice or of the change taking effect, whichever is later. Your statutory rights, including any refund, remain unaffected.
Liability
We are liable for the Sixty Skies service under the applicable law. These terms do not exclude or limit any liability or consumer right that the law does not allow to be excluded or limited, including the rights you have as a consumer under the law of the country where you live.
Ending
You can stop using Sixty Skies at any time and delete your data in the app. A subscription you cancel through Apple stays active until the end of the period already paid. We may end access for anyone who seriously breaks these terms.
Law and disputes
These terms are governed by Hungarian law, without depriving consumers of the protection of the mandatory law of their country of residence.
Complaints
Send complaints to support@sixtyskies.com or by post to our registered seat. We answer written complaints in substance within 30 days and keep each complaint and our answer for three years. Payment and refund matters are handled by Apple.
Conciliation and courts
If we cannot settle a complaint, consumers can turn to a conciliation body (békéltető testület). The body for our registered seat is the Budapest Conciliation Board (Budapesti Békéltető Testület), 1016 Budapest, Krisztina körút 99, 1st floor, room 111, Hungary (postal address: 1253 Budapest, Pf. 10., Hungary); +36 1 488 2131; bekelteto.testulet@bkik.hu; bekeltet.bkik.hu. Consumers in Hungary can also turn to the body of their place of residence. You can go to the competent court in any case.
Changes to these terms
If we change these terms, we publish the new version here with its date and tell you in the app before it applies to you.
